What is therapy?
In the ordinary and normal course of living, we will suffer hurt and trauma. We can only truly thrive if we can cope with (and ideally overcome) the consequences of those wounds, which can include all the emotional and mental traumas like anxiety, anger, stress, compulsions and obsessions.
Therapy is about healing and becoming emotionally, mentally and physically robust and tends to be both shorter and more focused than counselling. I support my clients across the broad spectrum of emotional and mental health challenges they face (www.positiveways.co.uk).
